Week 2 of Losing It - Too Much Candy

Wow I did not think I did as good as I thought. I have been feeling pretty sick lately and not really watching what I have been eating. But I lost 1 pound since last week. I was expecting no results. My mom keeps bringing over her junk food as if we want it. She sent over 4 candied apples. Those things suck. They are so hard. My husband cut his finger on one. I told my dad I didn't want them because I don't want our teeth to break. He said you aren't supposed to bite into them. What is it?  How many licks till you get to the apple? I soaked the candy off and made applesauce with the apples. Just this morning my parents stop by and leave giant jaw breakers for the kids. What are they thinking?

I am trying to cut off sugar from me and the kids for awhile. We have been on sugar overload for nearly a month. The halloween candy is being put away or thrown away. We will be eating fruit or popcorn for desserts.

Day 3 Of Losing It - Scale Obsessed

So I am obsessed with the scale I get on it every time I go in the bathroom thinking maybe I have lost a significant amount of weight since the last time. I know, wishful thinking. It is recommended that you only check your weight about once a week to see the difference. So I will check and document my weight loss next week.

The diet has been going okay so far. I have been watching what I eat and trying to do some Oxycise reps when I can squeeze them in. It has been a little tough because I have given into the temptation of the dreaded Halloween candy. Urgh!!!

Day 1 of Losing It

appleI need to lose weight big time. Over a year ago I started my weight loss journey to lose 30 pounds but while I was struggling through the holiday season to stay on track I got pregnant. During my pregnancy I gained 30 pounds. So now I am in need of losing about 50-60 pounds so that I can achieve my Healthy Lifestyle. My diet I am going to follow is from the Healthy Lifestyle website. Losing the pregnancy pounds is an article filled with great tips on how to stay on track and make simple changes to your diet. Another article from the website is Operation Diet Plan also filled with some great tips. I will also use some of their products and recources to aid in my success.

As a mother of three now and I work full time it will be a struggle for me to stick to a exercise routine that I can schedule. Not like chasing and serving three kids doesn't burn calories in its own. I have found on that worked for me in the past is called Oxycise . This exercise routine boosts the metabolism and can be done spread out throughout the day. You only need to do 15 minutes a day.
